During the last few weeks, Voila, one of our biggest partners has helped us realize a number of new projects in the school and village. The basketball court was renovated and even has crowd stands. The school containers were painted, and new soccer goals were built.

|Children in an Art Class|
We used a space between two containers, a little material and a lot of good will to build an art workshop for the school. This new space will provide an out-of-class space for the kids of the school to have art lessons. We’re still not done with the wall murals, but today – our Surages class (overaged kids) had their first lesson in our new space.

Carnival is the biggest holiday of the year in
. Last year it was cancelled because of the devastating earthquake, but this year everybody is excited about it again.. Each class selected a theme and created their own masks. The school staff with student volunteers decorated the school and today we had a big carnival party with parade, games and performances. Haiti
